I was recently on the North shore of Oahu to watch my brother compete in the very thrilling Pipeline Masters. It seemed as if there were 2 photographers for every surfer, so I decided not to take pictures of the surfers, but rather the people around me who watched in anticipation as I did. Here are a few.
